STEM in aquaculture immersion – To enthuse today’s youth and foster tomorrow’s workforce Ms Pamela Ernstberger presented a blended educational programme called Exploring Diversity in Aquaculture – EdinAqua – to get high school students interested in science, particularly aquaculture. The programme gives students the opportunity to explore the aquaculture industry through inquiry-based 25 science, social studies and culture on an online platform, with a holistic approach to instruction and learning.

Dutch students took part in an online module designed to meet their vocational ECVET specifications. The blended program included face-to-face with instructors, including myself, plus experts in the field. I designed the module using Canvas.
