I developed a module using Canvas for a group of Dutch students. I was looking for a LMS that was user friendly, not only for developing the module, but also easy to navigate for the students. Included in this module were tools to increase collaboration between the students and myself, for example a social learning tool called FlipGrid. The aim of this was to create a community within the group and to give students more confidence in their abilities especially as they were in a new environment and not using their native language to complete the assignments.
