What do you want to get out of college?

Coming into college, I have set high expectations for myself. For the next 6 years, I will be attending QU in their 3+3 Physical Therapy Doctorate Program. During the 6 years, I have many hopes and goals for myself to pursue. As a freshman this year, I hope to start to become involved with many of the clubs, activities, study groups, greek life, etc. By becoming involved, I hope to start to create my core friend group here at school, and within my sorority my "home away from home." With greek life, I hope to eventually pursue a leadership position within Kappa Alpha Theta. In addition, I recently got accepted to the Operations Committee of QTHON, which will allow me to help plan the event and get more well known with other students on campus, while making a different in the children's lives that we will be impacting. Expanding on that, I hope to make an impact here at QU, whether its to younger students as I go through my six years here, or with campus academics and life itself. With greek life, I hope to make an impact with other sororities and fraternities philanthropy, attending their events and raising money for their philanthropy as well as my own. With other clubs, I hope to become more involved in Habitat for Hummanity, Physical Therapy club, and the Community Action Project. Academically, I hope to get from QU a base knowledge leading up the physical therapy workforce. I hope to get from the physical program here a demanding course load that builds me as a stronger, smarter and more dedicated student/individual/physical therapist. Although the classes may be challenging and time consuming, it will all be worth it in the end. I hope QU can build me into the physical therapist I have always wanted to be, and gives me the foundation for me to be the best individual I can be outside of college.
