Because this course was solely based on exam performance, there was no major papers or projects assigned in this class. This is the first time I have ever received a "C-" in a course; Science is definitely not my strength. This course was very challenging for me despite it being a 100-level class due to the fact that the final average was based on a student's performance in 25-question multiple choice exams--not on attendance, participation, effort, etc. Thus, this course was both difficult and frustrating for me, but luckily it did not hinder my overall GPA.
SCI 102L - Survey of Physical Science II (Lab)
Professor Brendan Geelan
Class GPA: A
Best Work Prompt: N/A
Because this lab course was solely based on lab performance, there was no major papers or projects assigned in this class. Participating in hands-on, visual teamwork allowed me to excell in this lab course compared to its paired-lecture class. I was able to learn a great deal about physical science thanks to the format of the class and how it catered to my prefered learning method.
